A two-day international conference on "War, Border, and Culture" was organized to discuss the topic "Community and Transformations of Public Cultural Space in Post-Soviet Armenia as an Example of Border Settlements". The conference was funded by the RA State Committee for Science and Education and was held at the Faculty of History of Yerevan State University.
In recent years, escalating tensions in Armenia's border settlements have made the organization of such a conference increasingly urgent and necessary. Under these circumstances, scientific research in border settlements becomes especially crucial.
The conference was dedicated to examining the cultural landscape of Armenia's border settlements. The topics of the reports were related to research, perspectives, and conservation issues of cultural sites along the border.
The team from monumentatch.org also presented their reports during the meeting.
