Unique winged khachkar (cross stone) with a graving of a sundial with numbers Ա - ԺԲ (1-12), 10th c. AD, Shahmasur village, Martakert region, Artsakh.

It is the second by date sundial after well-known Zvartnots sundial and one of known two khachkars with sundial depicted on the khachkar.

Inscription:

Armenian original: «Զիս՝ զՍտեփա/նոս/` զկանգնող սրբոյ նշա/նիս, յա/ղաւ/թս յի/շե[ս]ջ/իք»:

English translation: "Me - Stephanos, who erected the holly sign, remember in your prayers".
